NEXT Steps
When on a journey, we should always be moving, taking one step after another. What is your next step?
Join the conversation, as we spur each other on toward greater faith in the eternal, and inspired relationships with one another.
Next Sunday is step 1. The start of the journey. Let’s do this together.
This Sunday, we get to host the community for a meal, immediately after service!
Please go to perfectpotluck.com (last name: October 2016 password: 5th Sunday) to sign up for a dish to bring and/or a spot to help serve! Many spots are still open!
This is possible with your generosity, thank you!
Thank you!
The bonfire was a huge success, thanks to all of you! Special shout-out to Melissa Ruvalcaba and her Friends & Family Grow Team, for planning the event, and the Kitzmann family for helping to plan and hosting the event! Thanks to everyone who brought food, game ideas and friends. It is good to be with!
Put November 2nd on your calendars!
First Wednesday is intentionally set aside for prayer and worship, continuing to grow in the experience of the Holy Spirit and encouraging one another, in Christ.
We will gather at John & Glenda’s home, beginning at 7pm.
November 6th, CCC will celebrate 45 years!
We will gather for breakfast, before service (9:30) and continue the celebration through our Sunday morning service. This is a day you do not want to miss!
Q-Place coaching available!!
There are few places in our culture where the spiritually curious can safely explore spiritual topics and learn more without being told what to believe. This is what Q Place is all about – providing a non-threatening environment to discuss spiritual matters with people who believe differently so they can find God as revealed in the Bible.
Former atheist Lee Strobel says, “I wish Q Place had been around when I was a seeker investigating spiritual issues!”
Get equipped to start your own Q Place (i.e. spiritual seeker group) from the convenience of your home computer! Beginning the first week of November, 7 weekly 1¼ hour online sessions will be offered at convenient times, with experienced coaches to walk with you in the process of starting a Q Place. Go to http://www.qplace.com/q-place-coaching/ or contact Nancy Klaassen for more information (nklaassen@qplace.com). |
