– spaghetti noodles
– boxed macaroni and cheese
– peanut butter (in plastic jar please)
– jelly (in plastic jar please)
– canned soup, vegetables, fruits, along with canned meats like tuna or chicken
– boxed cereal
– boxed dinners (i.e. Hamburger Helper)
In addition, these are items that are appreciated and special:
– Spices, brownie mix, chocolate, toiletries, canned meat, baby toiletries, socks

Lets be the hands & feet of Jesus, while we provide food to the hungry!
Advent: Anticipating the Momentous
The First Sunday of Advent is November 29th. We will be serving coffee & donuts beginning at 9:30am and continuing until service begins. Please join us as we walk the journey and anticipate the momentous together!
Sunday, November 29th we will be hosting the Community Meal, immediately after service. Thank you to all who volunteered to bring a dish to pass, and volunteered time to help! If you were not able to sign up to help, and would like to, please respond to this email, so you can be put in touch with this month’s Community Meal coordinator.
December 5th is our Annual Ladies’ Breakfast & Shopping Day! We will meet at Nancy Cronkright’s home for breakfast at 8am, and continue to the Naperville/Aurora area for a fun day of shopping! Please join us for breakfast, even if you cannot shop with us!
All adults (age 18 and up) are invited to Pastor John & Glenda’s home on December 18th for Christ Community Church’s Annual Christmas Party. Watch the announcements for more details, closer to the event!
As we move into the colder months, we want to be especially mindful of our local PADS shelter, and the wonderful work the volunteers do. The shelter is already hosting many people this season.
At this time, (and often actually), they are in need of the following items:
Breakfast meats Coffee Sandwich bread
Chips Snack Crackers Breakfast bars
Fruit Snacks Jugs of Juice
If you are able to help provide some of these, please drop the items off at the PADS shelter (1120 Canal St.), or bring them to church, where Judy Foster will collect them and deliver them to PADS. Thank you!
Saturday mornings bring a great way to start the weekend out right! Come to the Upper Room, from 7:30am-8:30am, where a Small Group focused on prayer has begun. Connect to the Source of Life, while connecting with each other!
Any 7th Graders-High School age students looking for a time of connecting, discussing God’s Word and all He has for your life, are welcome to join Encounter! This group meets on Thursday nights beginning at 7pm, at the Maxon home.
As our Fall Semester of groups winds up this week, please communicate with your group leader, as to whether your group will continue through the Holiday months. Also, please be prayerful about starting or leading your own group next Semester. If you have any questions, please contact Bob Pursley, Small Group Coordinator.
