Thanks to everyone who attended Sunday, and helped to celebrate Christ Community Church’s 44th Anniversary!
We had a wonderful time of fellowship, over coffee and sweets before church, followed by a powerful time of praise & worship.
Mrs. Phyllis Nordstrom, thank you for recounting a memory and telling a story–only the way you can.
It was wonderful having Pastor John with us, freshly back from Poland. We look forward to hearing of your encounters in the coming weeks.
And the piece de resistance was having Javier & Javier with us, from Tenancingo, Mexico. What a privilege to hear from them what the Lord is doing in Mexico, and what a powerful impact Christ Community has in their community of believers!
If you understand Spanish, you were right at home. If not, we were honored and thankful for Helio, who translated the entire message for us! How cool is that?! Thanks Helio for being willing to serve the Lord, and your church family, with your skills! 🙂
Happy 44th Christ Community Church! We are believing for God’s best, as we continue to be led by the Spirit and are guided by the Lord.

Fall Semester of Small Groups is nearly wrapping up. Please contact your group leader to see if you will be continuing to meet throughout the holidays.
If you wish we had a group for __(fill in the blank)__, would you prayerfully consider starting and leading a group focused on your interest? If you have any questions about leading a group, please contact Bob Pursley.
Saturday mornings bring a great way to start the weekend out right! Come to the Upper Room, from 7:30am-8:30am, where a Small Group focused on prayer is meeting. Connect to the Source of Life, while connecting with each other!
Prayer Requests
During your prayer time, please continue to lift up Richarte and his family. Richarte, the Pastor in Tenancingo, Mexico, suffered a heart attack last week. His wife suffered a stroke about a month before. Please pray for healing, recovery, finances to cover medical expenses, peace and strength for them and their family.
Also, Paul & Amber Werner have landed safely in Bolivia! They will be traveling, with a group, to remote places of the country, bringing dental care, medical supplies and the good news of Jesus! Please pray for safety, wisdom, strength and open hearts of the people of Bolivia as well as the team. What a time of transformation for both people groups!
Any 7th Graders-High School age students looking for a time of connecting, discussing God’s Word and all He has for your life, are welcome to join Encounter! This group meets on Thursday nights beginning at 7pm, at the Maxon home.
