Dear Church Family,
Here at Christ Community Church, we seek to inspire in others and ourselves an absolute faith and dependence on God for everything in life. At the same time, it is our duty to maintain a healthy and realistic awareness of what is going on in the world around us. We understand that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has become a worldwide concern and is on the top of everyone’s minds.
With that in mind, below are the precautions we are taking to provide a safe and clean worship environment for you and your families.
What we are doing:
-
Our facilities are cleaned on a regular basis to ensure strong sanitization procedures.
-
We have increased sanitization efforts to thoroughly clean frequently touched surfaces and high traffic areas.
-
In addition to hand soap available in the bathrooms, we have a supply of alcohol-based hand sanitizers available for use at the Information Desk.
What you can do:
-
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
-
Cover your mouth and nose with your forearm when coughing and sneezing.
-
Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds at a time. Use soap and water when possible.
-
If you are sick, have a fever, or aren’t feeling well, please remain at home.
Christ Community Church will continue our weekly services but are monitoring the situation and following recommendations from state and local government agencies.
We urge you to pray for those who have already been affected, their families, caregivers, and medical professionals working tirelessly to respond to this situation around the world.
Finally, we encourage you to exercise faith and wisdom as we continue to represent Jesus to our community, friends, and neighbors. Our aim is to be loving and caring, not just self-protecting.
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. John 16:33
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
