Following Jesus is not just another path to self improvement. At it’s best, it is a death to an old life and a birth into the life of Jesus.
That death is signified by being “buried” in baptism. The good news is that it doesn’t stop there! Coming out of the grave, symbolized by coming out of the water, we rise to enter the new, Spirit anointed, eternal life. Baptism is approached thoughtfully and prayerfully.
Those who are baptized are celebrated into the new community of other Jesus followers–learning together how to do this life together.
“…don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Romans 6:3-4

We typically hold a large baptism in August, but would love to celebrate with you in baptism throughout the year! We baptize all who are ready to declare, “I have decided” to give my life to Jesus!
