21 Days of Prayer
…is happening! Join us Monday–Friday in the Upper Room from 6a-7a, Saturday from 8a-9a, and Sunday our regular service at 10a. This is a time of focused prayer and devotion, led by a different person each day! You don’t want to miss this powerful time of prayer!

 

 

Sunday, August 13th, we will be having a baptism, immediately following the morning service. If you are interested in being baptized, and ready to declare “I Have Decided!” to surrender to Christ, please reply to this email, or contact Pastor John or one of the Elders.

Immediately following the baptism, at the Maxon home, we will have a celebratory picnic! Meat, drinks and paper goods will be provided. Please bring a dish to pass. (Pasta/Potato salad, fruit, vegetable, chips/dip, dessert).

 

Our Fall Small Group Semester is beginning in the coming weeks!!

The School of Kingdom Ministry (SoKM) is a training developed for the everyday Believer longing to know God more and minister with His Holy Spirit in the pattern Jesus demonstrated.  
After the Baptism this Sunday, August 13, try “A Taste of SoKM.” (Maxon home). At 3:00, “Tasters” will hear a mini-teaching from Putty Putman (primary SoKM teacher), participate in an activity designed to practice “listening for God’s voice,” and discuss both.   (Total time: ~75 min)  Taste and … TRY!
Janet Maxon will facilitate this two-semester SoKM small group/training.  There is an application and tuition for this SoKM training. More information to come…
