Financial Peace University began last Sunday, but it’s not too late to join! If you are interested in changing the financial landscape of your life, you have one more chance to join the class taking place from 5-7pm in the lower level of the 807 Building. The class takes place eachSunday from October 2 through November 27. It is open to everyone who wants to improve their financial situation, no matter what condition it may be in. Dan Hennenfent and Jason Norem will be leading the class, childcare will be provided by Lindsey Norem. We will be following the FPU curriculum provided through Dave Ramsey.
Materials for the class will cost $100. Scholarships for up to 50% may be available. For questions or to sign up, contact Dan Hennenfent, Jason Norem or Lindsey Norem
Labor of Love
This Saturday, October 8th, is Labor of Love. This is a community wide effort to serve and help one another. A home has been selected, in need of projects to be done.
If you, your Grow Team or your Small Group is interested in joining efforts to help, please respond to this email so we can make sure Information forms are filled out.
The project is in need of 4-5 workers on site. Spots are also available to help with food service and clean up. Children under the age of 14 may help in the food service area, with adult supervision.

It’s not easy, but it is possible to invite Christ-followers on mission in their everyday relationships. This one-day event is designed to equip and empower you with ideas that will work! You can attend this VITAL Conference either Friday, Oct. 14th, OR Saturday, Oct. 15th, from 9 a.m until 4 p.m. It will be held at Western Springs Baptist Church in Western Springs, IL. 2nd Annual Family & Friends Bonfire
Friday, October 21st, everyone is invited to the Kitzmann farm for some Fall fun!
Bring your friends, lawn games, lawn chairs and visit perfectpotluck.com (last name: Kitzmann, password: bonfire) to sign up for food that you can bring.
If you have any firewood, cut trees or other wood items that can be burned, please contact Jenny Kitzmann to arrange drop off of the wood at the farm. More details will be coming to you from your Small Group leaders.
