Join us Wednesday, August 5th at 7pm, for our First Wednesday Gathering, at Pastor John & Glenda Nordstrom’s home.  (1300 W Glover St.)  During this time, we will experience worship, prayer and learn more about each other and the Spirit of God.  It will be the best part of your week, and you will leave refreshed and ready to take on the rest of your month!

Have you dedicated your life to God, and are looking for your next step?
If God has changed your life, share it with others by being water baptized!  In following Christ’s example, being water baptized is a powerful part of publicly proclaiming that you are living a new life in relationship with Him.

If you have any questions or wish to talk about baptism, please reply to this message, or contact Don MaxonJohn Nordstrom, Sr. or John Nordstrom, Jr.

If you have made the decision to be baptized, please contact the church and let us know!

This Sunday, immediately after service, we will make our way to the Maxon home, (215 Spring St.) where we will baptize all those ready to exclaim, “I have decided!”

A family picnic will follow the baptism.  Please bring a dish to pass and a lawn chair.

Play in the pool time will be open throughout the afternoon!  Bring your suit, towel and get ready for a fun game of water volleyball!

Prayer is something God designed to be a part of our lives, everyday.  God wants to be with you!  Join us as we set aside time each day to be with God.  Mon.-Fri. we will gather in the Upper Room from 6am-7am.  This will continue through the week, and on Saturday we will meet at 8am.  Sundays, we will celebrate in prayer together at our 10am service.

Together, we faithfully seek God first, trusting in His power alone to create lasting impact in our lives, our church and our world.

We would love for you to lead a group that can be centered around a book study, Bible study, sermon discussion, prayer, worship, children or even a common interest.

Sunday, August 9th – 6 PM
Friday, August 14th – 6 PM

Both training sessions will be in the Lincoln Board Room and you only need to attend one to lead a group.  Please email Bob Pursley to let him know that you plan to attend.

If you have had training and are ready to start a new group, please contact Bob Pursley with the specifics of your group.
