You Are Invited!
Camrie Maxon is graduating from High School, and Chloe Maxon is graduating from 8th Grade. You are invited to their home (215 Spring St., Ottawa), for their Homeschool Graduation Ceremony and Party!
The Ceremony will take place at 3pm on Saturday, July 18, with Sips & Dips (snacks and swimming) to follow. The Maxons are prepared to help you beat the heat! Pool playtime for kids and water volleyball for adults. A cool relaxing house for the inside kind of people, and shade trees galore for the outside kind of people. No need to RSVP, just come!
DeAnna Carlson is heading up a church-wide garage sale, with all proceeds going to CCC’s Benevolence Fund, which is used to help community members when they need it most. The sale will be held in the parking lot of Bethel Lutheran (651 W. Madison), on Saturday, July 25th, from 8am-2pm. Items may be delivered to the parking lot on Friday, starting at 3pm. (Please NO electronics, TVs, VCR, DVD Players.) Please price items prior to drop-off. The following is a list of areas in which she could use some help:
- Post Flyers
- Friday: Setup (Start time 3)
- Saturday Sale Workers: Sales Floor, Customer Service, Cashiers
- Saturday Cleanup: Breakdown Tables, Possibly Deliver Balance of Items to Servant’s Heart
- Saturday: Snacks and lunch items for workers
- Overall: Please start collecting plastic & paper bags for day of sale

Join us Sunday as we send students off to Ohio for Youth Camp! We will be covering them in prayer before they go, but please also remember them in your prayers!
Campers & parents–we will have a short meeting, immediately after church, by the piano.

- Christ Community will be having a baptism and church picnic on August 9th! Please begin praying about being baptized, if you have not been already. - 21 Days of Prayer begins August 2nd! We will be gathering daily to pray for each other, our church, the body of Christ as a whole, our nation and world.
