The Gathering

This Saturday, September 26th, churches across the Illinois Valley area will be gathering together under the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, I will forgive their sin and I will heal their land.”
We will be seeking the Lord together, in prayer, for our city, state, nation and world. Join us at Allen Park at 2pm on Saturday!

 

NEXT Steps
On October 5th, we will begin another course of NEXT Steps!

Next Steps is a 4-week mini small group where you can learn more about Christ Community and more about how we are designed to know God, find freedom, discover our purpose and make a difference in the world!

If you are interested in learning more or becoming a part of Christ Community, join us on Monday nights at 7pm in the Lincoln Boardroom on the lower level of the church building.

Baptism & Picnic

Can you say, “I have decided”? If you have not been baptized, but would like to be, please reply to this email.
We will be meeting at Pastor John & Glenda’s home on Sunday, October 4th, immediately after our morning service, for a baptism and picnic!

Chicken, paper goods and drinks will be provided for the picnic. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share!

 

Student Ministry Serve Night is here! 

7th grade-high school students are invited to meet at PADS tonight at 7pm! Please contact Pastor Rachel with any questions and to make sure you have all necessary forms filled out.

 

 

 

Fall Family Fun!

In an effort to connect with our Kid’s Ministry families, kid’s ages 0-6th grade and families are invited to Walsh Park, October 17th from 2p-4p. There will be pumpkins, hot chocolate and games! An invitation will be arriving soon and if you are interested in helping with the family fun, please contact Pastor Rachel.
