1. Check out this specially prepared link, to find more details as well as items that you can sign up to contribute to the event.
2. Bring chairs for your family and friends. If you have an extra net/ball/fun game, please bring it.
3. Donate your talent/s if you wish. In addition to the items needed for the event, are you also interested in donating your talent/s to make our event even more fun and special? Any jugglers?
Crafty people that want to do a craft?
Do you like to face paint or make balloon animals?
Musicians that want to play?
Someone skilled at decorating?
WE WANT YOU!
Whatever skill/talent/game you have that you want to offer please email Melissa Ruvalcaba.
4. SAFETY FIRST. Please note that there will be an open bonfire, an open firepit and tiki torches at this event. We need everyone’s help to keep all children safe. We will have a “kid zone” with extra lights and fun things to do away from the fires, but, everyone needs to stay safe so that we can all better enjoy the event!
One of our newest home groups is a class on parenting. It meets each Tuesdayevening at 7, and lasts one hour. If you are not currently in this class, would you consider it a ministry to help care for the children of those in this class, in the Wee Care room? You could serve one week or several, from 6:40pm-8:20pm. Please let Phyllis Nordstrom know of your desire to minister to these families. There are 5 more weeks. May God bless you!
Saturday mornings bring a great way to start the weekend out right! Come to the Upper Room, from 7:30am-8:30am, where a Small Group focused on prayer has begun. Connect to the Source of Life, while connecting with each other!
Any 7th Graders-High School age students looking for a time of connecting, discussing God’s Word and all He has for your life, are welcome to join Encounter! This group meets on Thursday nights beginning at 7pm, at the Maxon home.
Fall Semester of Small Groups has begun!
Small groups have one, simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us.
