Due to the recent natural disasters, and their continued effects, we would like to come alongside local churches in the affected areas to help equip, resource and empower them to do the work they do best. They have built relationships with their communities, and can offer not only practical help, but the emotional and spiritual care that is needed in the midst of disaster. This Sunday, we will be taking a special offering to be donated entirely to local churches in the affected areas. We will be donating with prayer and thanksgiving for all they work they are doing to support and serve their communities.

Labor of Love

This community outreach event will be held Saturday, October 7th. We will be joining with hundreds of volunteers from Lasalle County to serve the residents in the area, needing assistance.

For administrative purposes, it is helpful for them to know in advance the amount of workers they can anticipate. If you are interested in helping, please reply to this email. Age 14 and up are welcome to assist with projects.
If you are able to lead a project (no special skills required), please indicate that in your reply.
Childcare for those younger than 14 can be arranged with Joy Ortiz.

 

Scarecrow Fest is coming up on September 30th, from 10a-5p! DeWayne Cronkright is looking for volunteers to help in various areas throughout the festival, and throughout the day. Please comment below if you are available and interested!
